The Franklin 7FA1P4-3W230 #93780745 standard FPS 4400 4-inch submersible pump features the new TRI-SEAL floating stage system. This new stage system improves efficiency and protects against wear when pumping abrasives (sand). The 300 series stainless steel hub floats with the impeller maintaining a positive seal. A phenolic washer provides down-thrust protection, and an acetal impeller provides high efficiency performance and abrasion resistance. The floating stage design on this pump allows the impeller to float independently. These pumps come with a removable, spring-loaded check valve, and a patented impeller hub seal system that seals radially and axially to prevent fluid recirculation, providing high performance in the harshest conditions.
